Old mag pouch?

I had this in the back of my safe... It came along with an old M1 carbine mag pouch I purchased a while back. It looks kind of old, but I can't find any identifying marks on it.

It's too thin for M1 mags and too tall for any pistol mags that I have. If anyone can tell me what type of mag pouch this is I would greatly appreciate it!

You say its too small but it looks like the pouches we carried the 15 round magazines in on the stock.

Looks like a M1 Carbine magazine pouch to me.

It definitely looks like an M1 carbine pouch but I'm certain it is not. I will post some more pics of this one next to an M1 mag pouch so you can get a better idea of it's size.
