My New Ruger

Been looking for a Ruger "Old Army" to shoot. Finally found one on "Gunbroker"
Bid and won. Cost 325.00. Put a trigger stop on it, and a trigger shoe. Got
the new grips in today. The owner says it's been shot about 30 times.

She's a beaut. I prefer the more traditional looking pistols, but that's got my mouth watering like a plate full of Fried Tofu with peanut vegetables... not very relateable. But you get my point.

Mine's a stainless steel version and came with a wide target trigger. I haven't done a trigger stop yet but I replaced the stock trigger rebound spring with a much less stiff cut down spring out of a ball point pen. This noticably lightens the trigger pull, doesn't get rid of the creep though.
A lot of competition shooters have the hammer swiss cheesed for lower weight and faster lock time also.

Beautiful gun, those white grips look great.

You are the luckiest person right now my friend, I've been looking but all of the ones I've seen on GB have been in the upper $400.00 & $500.00 range.

Sweet trigger stop there, did you drill & tap it into place or solder it on?

Drill & tap so it is adjustable
