Need help with 44 mag extractor assmbly
Gun Smiths:
I have a Taurus 44 mag in which the extractor spring is either broken or gummed up. I am having a hard time getting the extractor rod to un screw. It does unscrew doesn't it? I'm a touch afraid to use force. Help? Prof Young |

Well . . . .
Mete:
Well, that's one of the things I'm not sure of. And I am assuming it is threaded and screws in and out. If it is a left handed thread that would explain my problems. Prof Young |

If the Cylinder rotates to the right it may be LHT , if not there would be no reason for it to be . Find a schematic and disassembly instructions before you Bubba it up !

Okay, will do . . .
"Bubba it up." That's good. I'll remember that. I've never known a real person named Bubba.
