Cat's Meow
Is this the cat's meow or did the cat think outside the litter box? I think the latter.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=355194655 I guess it is no worse than some of the pistols you see painted olive drab green. |

That looks like something we might have found in one of Saddam's palaces.

Sadly, I know people who actually find that desirable. Not quite sure how, but they do.

While I have no desire to own the thing, I am almost tempted to put in a lowball bid just to see what happens...

Cat's Meow
I just don't get what the purpose of such a boat anchor would be. Other than a conversation piece.

This tiger striped, gold DE isn't anything new. They've been around for years. I think it's actually a factory finish.

Heck if your going to get a Desert Eagle, it might as well be pimped the schnazz out. I'd never pay for something like that however.

I actually seen one of those in the display cases in Hoffman's Gun Center here in CT earlier this year (may have been Dec. 2012). I remember commenting to my coworker, who came with me, "That looks like something a 3rd world Warlord would be packing". Looking at it again, I still think that, lol.

Re: Cat's Meow
I like it only because its rediculous and no one else likes it. I know there is no real use and people think its gawdy. I hope to have one some day just because its so rediculous.

think I saw the owner of this gun on cops
what was that cop movie last year end of shift or duty or something like that they bust a drug dealer with a gold plated AK 47 looked just like this thing. Suppose if you are into that, more power to ya, would hate to shoot it every time it slides the action you loose money in gold gone |

Crap! The dealer is right here in my town. Local cop shop. I'll bet they took it on a trade or bought some confiscated guns and couldn't move it.
It is butt ugly. I may go over there tomorrow and see if it induces nausea in person.

I have bought my share of firearms from them. They are great people to do business with and happy to let you look over their auction items.
It might even grow on you. |

There was a member on another forum I used to read desperately trying to find one of these at one time.

The Titanium gold tiger stripe finished Desert Eagle is a pop culture icon.
There are millions of counter-strike players world wide that know it as the deagle. It is the most sought after and most expensive finish on the Desert Eagle with a retail of $2,400. |

Gen Patton refered to a pearl handled pistol as something carried by a pimp in a new orleans whore house. What do you think he would say about that? LOL
