old 44 Mag dies

I have a set of old RCBS 44 mag dies. The kind that has the resizer is just a "tube" with no decapper. Well the resizer is scored and "flutes" my cases. Also, it must be kept lubed, which probably has a big impact on the scoring.(lube attracts dirt)
RCBS has offered to polish/replace it. But I was wondering if they were worth anything to a collector?

Probably not. 20-25 years ago, some guys had a hard time springing for carbide... Dunno if it was financial or psychological...
"carbide crap's just a passing fad, godfreydaniels...!" But I got a couple sets in .45 Long Colt and .41 Mag, if ya find a fish, share, OK?

My Hornady 44 Mag dies are the only ones I have that are not carbide. I use Unique case lube when sizing 44's; it's not a greasy or oily type lube and doesn't attract or hold grit like most conventional lubes do. I think the main ingredient is lanolin, which wipes off with a paper towell or rag easily. I've seen lots of old dies at gun shows, and unless they happen to be for a real rare caliber or something like that, there doesn't seem to be any collector value for them.
