Ghost ring sights on a rifle-sighted 870?

Hi,

I'm going to pick up an 870 police magnum. I think I want the rifle-sighted barrel for more accurate slug sooting. Later, if I decide to spend the money for a ghost ring sight, will the rifle sight get in the way? Thanks! TCW

If you remove the rear blade, the base will not get in the way. You will see it through the ghost ring, but there will be no problem. I shot one like this for quite a while before I decided to remove the rear base and reblue the barrel.
