Trying to Identify shotgun
My Father bought a shotgun at a yard sale and we are trying to find out information about it. It is a side by side 20 gauge.
On the side is printed The"Sportsman's *Cleveland* On the other side is printed 5100 Any information is greatly appreciated |

YOu didn't mention if the hammers are exposed.
I show that Cleveland was a box lock with outside hammers possibly made by Stevens around 1920-1925. I also have a Sportsman made by Crescent Firearms Co from 1900-1920 then By J. Stefens for Bingham & Co of Cleveland OH after that. The 5100 indicates to me that it was made by J. Stevens, as Stevens made a model 5100 double bbl. HJN |
