The Hornady 7th lists for 40gr V-Max and RL-15...
25.0gr at 3400 ft/sec
To
27.3gr at 3800 ft/sec

For your 34gr Dogtowns' I would suggest starting the load testing at 26gr's of RL-15 ~3600 ft/sec, and working up in half grain intervals to 28.5gr's ~3900 Ft/sec.

Be aware that Hornady is conservative in loads, but be safe and start from the bottom and work upwards, looking for signs of over-pressure.
Every firearm is different, as is location and temps durring tests.
That is why Hornady is conservative in its listings.
What would show signs in their test equipment (the max), may cause over-pressure in your firearm, with your temps, and elevations.
