any 10mm ar's out there?

10mm seems to be gaining some traction, slowly but more pistols being chambered for it, so is any body making a ar in 10mm?

No more popular then it has been for the past 30 years. With that being said I used to own a JR Carbine in .40 S&W. It looked like and AR but used a blow back design. Can't imagine a 10mm without one heck of a recoil spring.

Check Olympic arms k10, best 10mm ar on the market, there are a few others but if you can snag an oly go for it. Imagine shooting 135 gr frag nasties at 1900 fps or 220 hard cast at 1500 at your target of choice.

I was hoping the KRISS would come out in a 10mm version. A compact semi-auto 10mm carbine with minimal recoil would interest me.

dunno

Can't say, but I always thought that a stretched 10mm, say a 10mm Max or Mag, would make an interesting carbine cartridge.

There used to be a 10mm magnum from AMT and their AutoMag IV was chambered for it. The cartridge was proprietary and when the company went belly up so did the cartridge. IIRC Starline used to make brass for it but I have no idea if they still do.

The smith & season 610 revolver is a 10mm auto that is often re-chambered for 10mm mag for states with cartridge leingth restrictions for deer hunting (kansas).

I was collecting the parts to build a gas operated 10mm AR15 based on a Cav Mk2 lower, grease gun mags, and a 6.8spc bolt, then the crazy hit last fall and it's on hold until things settle down some.

never heard of a 10mm AR but a 40 cal with 'crappy headspacing' might function with the right mags...
