the new ban regulations

is there any way shape or form, to have the new capacity restrictions, and "assualt weapon" requirements, be applied to

POLICE?

if my 5 foot tall neice only needs 7 round magazines to fend off rapists, then big burly police MEN only need 7 round magazines. isnt that the proper form of the modern democratic gender equality system?

I believe local police, state police and the military are exempt from all gun control laws. For example, many police have fully auto machine guns. Ditto for the military.

We are headed in the direction of a police state where only police and the military have weapons. This has already started in NY where large magazines must be surrendered within one year and we are just getting started on gun control at the federal level.

Question answered and redundant with other NYS threads.

Thus, we sympathize but closed.
