.45 acp primers?

All I can get locally are CCI,whats good for target/range use? [185 grn fmj]

There is nothing wrong with CCI primers.

The only factor that might come into play is their hardness.

They tend to have a harder cup than Winchester and a much harder cup than Federal.

"CCI-300 Large Pistol Primers" are all I've ever used reloading the .45 ACP. Never had a misfire yet with 3 different pistols and a revolver.

i had a couple dryfires with cci in my taurus

Well,I not usually fond of change,but in this case it's all good!CCI #300 worked great and are about $10.00 cheaper than the federals I was buying.Thanks a bunch!

CCI is not a bad product but Win is more reliable and it costs less too.

i have never had a problem with them and i have been loading for 14years.
