remington model 16 - 22 autoloading

what can anyone tell me about this, I found a little historical info on it at http://www.remington.com/library/his...e/model_16.asp

its in about 65%-70% or so, with some character marks on the stock & forearm..

serial no is 12,XXX

I've never fired it

what are the diffrences between 22 rem and 22 LR?

any idea on value

Thanks..

.22 Rem = heavier, slower .22 LR

IIRC, the .22 Rem is also fatter, ala the .22 mag.

I was going to buy one three years ago, in pretty good condition & tagged at only $200 - until I found out that the ammo is very scarce, and expensive when found - your basic unobtainium.
