Winchester Model 54 Steel Butt Plate?
My dad had a mint Winchester Model 54 Carbine in .270 and he needs a stock steel buttplate for it.
I've looked all over the internet and can't see to locate one. Anyone know where I might be able to find one of these? |

Parts houses often have parts not listed, so you can email or call to find availability.
I "think" that Winchester used the same plate on a number of models, so it may be carried as something other than for a Model 54. BE SPECIFIC about what you need, and whether you'll accept a replica. Since they have not made the Model 54 in over 80 years, you will most likely need either a used or replica part. If only a nice metal buttplate will satisfy your need, shop Brownells.
http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/pid=2...TEEL_BUTTPLATE Midway has a few. http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct...tNumber=619353 Or, if just about any buttplate will be acceptable, go to Numrich. http://www.e-gunparts.com/DisplayAd....12057&mySort=1
