WTB-Millett front site

I need a High-profile, narrow tenon, white outline front sight for a 1911 .This is to match the Millett rear sight which is high profile. Whoever put the front sight on does not understand the staking process. Thanks

Millett has discontinued their line of pistol sights. You could buy a 1911 sight blank from Brownells and have it cut to the size you want, then stake it in. Try a dot of red LocTite when you stake the front sight on, that way it won't auto-eject.

Lots of Millets on E-Bay.

Lots of Millets on E-Bay.

If you already have a double tenon cut a Millet is handy. Magic Dragon out of England on E-Bay has a specialty in Millet sights - now useless in the UK - and is a good man to deal with.

If you don't already have a double tenon then I wouldn't fit one.
