In case you didn't read my other post about SBH sights, my dad's Old Model SBH has a messed up rear sight. Ruger's customer service was slightly less than helpful so I looked up the rear sight assembly in Brownell's. They list 2 sights for the SBH: one "with bump" and one "without bump"--both for the same price. What is the "bump" and how can I determine whether or not he needs the "bump"?

Jack, remove the old sight and look at the bottom. That's were the bump is or isn't. George

ruger rear sights are JUNK the only complaint I have with ruger the Millet or Smith enterprizes are all steel and great only one pin to push out......
