Rifle Case
I am in need of a good case to protect my match rifle which I have alot invested in. It is too big to fit in the case I have now. Was wanting to know if anyone uses or has seen in person the Pelican Storm Cases? What is different in the Storm cases vs the Regular Pelican case....... http://www.midwayusa.com/product/474611/

The reviews seem to point to Pelican making a good rifle case.
If you plan on flying with it, i noticed some mentioned being TSA approved and some did not mention being TSA approved. The main thing is that it can be securely locked. Also these cases weigh like 20-24lbs empty, So its a pretty safe assumption that its sturdy enough to survive any abuse it might experience. Also because it will probably weigh 30+lbs with a gun in it, consider a case with wheels if you don't feel like carrying around that sort of weight. All depends on your situation i guess. |

I have handled a couple pelican cases and they are nice sturdy cases for sure. In a review I read, it stated that the pelican storm cases were made by a company that pelican bought out. I think they originally were just storm case.

I'm a firm believer in spending more than I need to, but I know a couple of target shooters who like this $35 case. It's "airline-approved" fwiw.
