Recently I had a 20 ga, H&R stolen, and this was part of a combo gun purchased in 1984 or 1985. Since then the company folded and H&R 1871/NEF was formed. I have a NEF rifle and the hinge on receiver is nothing like the old combo gun.

Would anyone know if the barrel I have left(30-30) would fit on another H&R shotgun made in that same mid 80's era?--------Thanks McChainsaw

You may want to post this in the Smithy Section. I feel you will find your ans there.
