Lyman Cast Bullet Handbook third edition question

In the pistol load data section some of the powders are prefixed with **. The footnote says "Designates special pressure test barrel". The starting and max. grains don't seem to be out of line and I just wondered if is supposed to be a warning or something I should be concerned about. Anyway, what does it mean?

While many loads are tested in real guns, some are tested with a test barrel, which is just a barrel bolted to a block of steel, which is bolted or clamped to a bench. The pressure barrel will have a pressure measuring device, such as a copper crusher, to determine actual pressure of the load.

A pressure barrel will not simulate your gun in any way, so you should do as always, back off 10% and decide what do do from that.
