Winchester 73 and Lefever 8 Gauge

I was wondering if anyone could possible give me the value of the following pieces:

Winchester 73 - SS#289739 - 1889 - Excellent condition and original

Lefever 8 Gauge - SS#13625 - Grade E - Excellent condition and original

My father is a retired Gunsmith and has many fine pieces that we are trying to find the values.

Prices for Winchester 1873 are all over the map depending on caliber, barrel length and form, condition (is it 90, 95 or 98, makes a huge difference) and originality. Do you have the factory letter confirming your gun is truly original? Some pictures would help to narrow it down from 2k - 8k.

Where on the gun is all the information you are suggesting I get? If you could explain where to find it, I will get it for you. Doing a quick inventory I wrote down the calibur as 44CF. Not sure if that is correct.

I know we don't have a letter from Winchester, but can I acquire one from writing Winchester? The gun is a gem.

My father also have a 1914 Parker 20 Gauge that I am trying to get a value for as well.

For the letter check here.
Barrel length - tape measure will do. But you either will have to post a set of good (not cell phone grade) pictures or bring the gun to an appraiser to get the exact condition of the gun, because that's where the collector's money is.
And the higher the condition grade is, the more critical it becomes that the gun wasn't touched up/reworked at some point in it's history.

I would like a shot at the Parker. Do you have the specs on it? Grade, barrel length, stock length (from the front trigger) double trigger or single, butt plate-pad-checked? There are more qualifying questions that some pictures would help answer. call me if you wish. 608-655-3758 Gary

As I get older I find hitting a mini ram at 200 yards with the 22 oddly more satisfying.
