Georgia Acquisition
My brother in law lives in St. Marys Georgia. While we were away from home we visited him.
He has told me of a good LGS between his house and I-95. So after the visit and on the way back home, I stopped at the shop. He had the Winchester clone I was looking for at a good price. These have been going for as low as 410.00 plus shipping plus FFL on the Gumbroker. The guy sold it to me for 459.00 plus tax and no FFL fee. (He covers the FFL for Military folks.) Name of the shop is Shooters of America 912-270-8752. [email protected] He quoted me a price on the 24" octagon barrel job which actually beats GB. This one is .45 LC. He had a .44 magnum and a .357 Saddle Ring as well.

...To give this shop a visit. They are decent folks.

Looks good Doc. Is it a Rossi? I like the way they kept the front sight behind the barrel band as per originals. Mine has it on top of the band like the 73's.

Nice rifle Doc! We of course will expect a detailed range report!
Between this and your 45/70, why do I have a feeling that you'll soon be building some larger display cases? Will be anxious to hear what you think of how it shoots!

Much obliged, you guys.
BBB,
Yes, Range report forthcoming. I hope to get to the field before going back at the end of the holidays. I was just thinking about another display case but I am thinking the rifles will just hang on the wall. 4V, Thanks. I wish I could take credit for the looks. Unfortunately, my only action so far was to get out my wallet. I do want to repeat my encouragement to patronize this shop in GA. Nice folks.
