From the article:

"Rapist Fakes Fender-Benders To Trap Victims"

"Women Easy Prey Once Out Of Their Cars"

"A possible serial rapist on the loose in Southern California is faking car accidents to gain access to his victims.

"Authorities say that on Wednesday morning, a woman was abducted and raped after she got out of her car to exchange insurance information with a motorist who rear-ended her.

"The victim was stopped at the intersection of Artesia Boulevard and Shoemaker Avenue shortly before 9:00 a.m. when her car was bumped from behind. The woman pulled to the side of the road to survey the damage. According to authorities, the suspect approached her, asking for her name, phone number and proof of insurance.

"Since the damage was virtually undetectable, the woman said it wasn't necessary, and that's when the suspect pulled a knife and ordered her back into her vehicle, according to authorities.

"She was taken from the area, beaten and raped.

"The victim later managed to get away by jumping out of her car while it was in motion and her attacker was behind the wheel."

Thank God all Kalifornians have been disarmed so no one can hurt this poor, misguided soul....
Yikes.
