how to adjust trigger pull on a Rem 700 SPS

got me a new SPS in 25-06 and the trigger is pretty stiff...is there anyway to adjust it some?

If its new and has the xmark pro trigger its pretty easy. Just remove the stock and then on the front of the trigger group there are 2 allen head screws. The bottom one that is farthest away from the receiver is the weight adjustment. You need to scrape the stuff out of it so you can get an allen wrench in there. Once that stuff is out of the way you turn the screw out to adjust it lighter. I tried a full turn out and that was too much for me on my rifle, so I turned it back in a quarter turn and was happy with it. Once you have it adjusted put a dab of fingernail polish on the screw so it stays in place.

guys im sorry i put in that this is an SPS gun and its actually an ADL...is there any diffrence in the way its supposed to be done between the 2?
