I am on a semi-auto AK-74 kick right now. I want one really bad. Yet, I would like a Sig P227 in .45 ACP.

I'm actually on a knife "kick" right now. But I looked at a 4" S&W M617 today and I got that itch..... we'll see.

If I don't watch it I might be in a Mini-14 and AR kick soon.

I'd say I'm on a 7.62x39 kick now seeing as I've fallen in love with a lovely Mini Mauser, SKS, and Mini-30 at my new favorite gun shop.

Lesser-known WW2 German handguns such as the Sauer 38H and Mauser Hsc (both .32 Auto). The Sauer's "son" is my Sig 232.
The Mauser Hsc is a very good gun (but don't remove the grips-tiny, unknown parts can spring out!), and both the Sauer and modern Sig 232 are Superb. By the way, the Hsc requires an inserted mag in order to Release the slide and allow other gun functions. Luckily this one came with two aftermarket mags. Post-war versions (.32 Auto and .380 Auto) might also require mag insertion. |

Well I'm glad to know that I'm not alone or different. I went on a new hand gun kick last summer. I serch high and low until I found the Ruger Blackhawk convertible 9mm / 357 Well I got it, casted and loaded and shot the Thunder out of it.
I generally use my heavy barrel Ruger number 1 for gun hunting and while hunting this past season I decided that I wanted a lighter rifle, so I started looking and checking and finally this past weekend I ordered a new rifle. So now it all started again, ordering dies, brass and bullets. And you know what's sad, during all of this I had traded a 50th anniversary Ruger Blackhawk 44 off and I've already thought of what I wanted to replace it with. You know, heck I've already got everything to load for it. I'm glad that I'm not alone LOL |
