filled out turkey tag this morning.

i shot this turkey this morning at 6.20 am at 28 yds with a win 300 turkey 12ga shotgun with a 2.5 leupold scope, shells used federal 3 inch mag 2oz copper 6,s with buffer. turkey call a ben lee twin hen. 6.5 inch beard. eastbank.

Congrats. Just for sake of conversation, if you ever hunt Wisconsin, they'd bust your azz for leanin' a gun up against a vehicle.

Dunno why, but it's been the law a long as I can remember.

2oz... I don't think I would suffer getting the scope gun and myself indexed for the hunt...

the trouble here is most of the tom,s are henned up, a shot maybe 20 feet or 50yds, the federal 2oz load shoots well in most all of my turkey guns, the 2.5 leupold has plenty of eye relief and i have never been hit by the scope in recoil. the win 1300 turkey gun loves the 2oz 6,s and is light enought to carry all day. in the fall i use a cz 680 in .22 hornet,i wish i could use it in the spring. eastbank.
