G21 10mm 22# spring
I put a 22# Wolff spring and rod in my G21 10mm conversion project and encountered FTE's about 1 in 10 (stovepipes) with BVAC 180gr, 100 rounds. All else is stock. I don't mind a break-in period but now I'm thinking 20# would be more appropriate. Thanks for opinions.

A 22lb spring is overkill and will beat a slidelock into early submission.

^^ What AZAK said. The factory spring does work, I just don't want to catch a face-fulla-slide some day.

I run a #22 spring in my g20 with hot loads down to sub sonics and have no problems. The 20 came before the 21 and had a heavier slide, when glock built the 21 on the 20 frame they had to lighten the slide to get the weaker 45acp to function. I would stick with the heavier spring to keep the barrel locked up longer and look at your extractor instead.
