When you say "difference," what do you mean?
Sierra's #2200 168 HPBT MatchKing is one single design.

I use a 165 gr. Hornady BTBT and 168 gr. Sierra HPBT Match interchangeably. I use 57 grs. of IMR 4350 and CCI primers with Remington cases. Both shoot the same zero to same poa in two different rifles.

Quickload says that for all practical purposes (using IMR4895 and/or IMR4350 at nominal pressures) there is little practical difference.

Thanks, Im working up a load near max for the 500 meter rams, and the last batch of reloads were SMk's and I like the way it slams them, they go down hard. Shoot safe. I have both IMR4350 4895 so I give your load a try Hawg.

It's at the top of the chart so work up to it.

I have shot thousands of the Hornady 168's and tens of thousands of the 168 SMK's. Both are excellent bullets. My loads are not "hot" as I shoot them in Garands and M1a's. I have not changed my powder charges as I cannot tell a difference in pressure between those bullets.

For your M1903, I would load between 46 and 47 grains of AA2520 with a 168. You gain nothing pushing it faster.

For your information, AA2495 is Accurate Arms knockoff of IMR 4895, grain for grain there is no significant difference over the screens.

Thanks slamfire, my last batch was 52.0 grs of AA4064 under the 168 SMK and I was very impressed with the performance. I have 8lbs of AA2520, so that's my powder of choice.
