Hornady .224" 53gr HP Match

Does anyone use these? I have a 1-14" twist, heavy barreled Rem700. I have produced great groups with the VMAX's but thought I would try my luck at the classic 22-250Rem load. A 53gr bullet (actually Hodgdon quotes a 52gr bullet) and some H380. When I first starting loading, I tried H380 with 50gr NBT's and got horrible accuracy. I later found out it was the bullets, but just kind of never tried H380 again... I don't know why.

But I'm ready to give it another shot. I have some tests rounds loaded. 5 rounds with 38gr, and 5 rounds with 38.5gr. I have these loaded .010" off the lands.

These bullets have a much longer bearing surface than I'm use to, causing me to seat them much deeper than I'm used to. I'm very excited to let some loose.

So they hold up to 22-250 velocities? That is a concern of mine.
