maybe the tread is like a truck tire (4x4)?
The civilian boot is a pale imitation of the original, and it's made in China. For the money there are better alternatives. I love having happy feet and gladly pay for good boots. Asolo and Salomon are my current favorites. DOL |

Uber hype and mediocre quality just don't make it. Personally anything with Assault tagged on has already lost credibility points with me.

I got a pair for less than half using Oakley's public safety program. They are pretty comfortable--- I wouldn't pay retail for them.

I was wondering if they came with "readiness socks" and "battle bunion pads."
Hey, they're trying to simply cash in on some meaniless buzz words. And don't blame this company alone, the hype is starting to filter down into everything we use. I like to use these elastic straps to hold my riding glasses tight to my face. If I buy one at my eye doctor's office they might cost nine bucks. However, if I was to buy the exact same strap from my Harley dealer with the "Bar and Shield" logo woven into the design, I will be charged 20 bucks. Hey, for an extra fifty dollars, after sharpening your knife I will lubricate it "high speed low drag VTOL" moly grease... |

A Range bag is upwards of one hundred bucks---a tool bag at home depot is about thirty bucks.
Safety glasses are ten or fifteen bucks, shooting glasses are at least 30 bucks. |

Your pocket book is what is being Assaulted for $150.00. You can get them free, all you have to do is enlist.
Jim I've got to get a set of those salt shakers. |

Not a real surprise that it's SMG doing the advertising. Most their firearms relate ads are targeted toward the mall ninja.

If that doesn't help out the recruiters I don't know what will.
