doing quotes in post replys

i was wondering how to add a quote from another member in a post reply.


another forum i belong to,they have a icon in everyones post so if you want to reply to what someone said,you just click on it an post your question/anwser.

any info on this subject would be appreciated thank you

I tried to explain this in one post, but it turned out to be a futile endeavor. Came out like this:

It's real simple. First, you copy and paste the quotation into the body of the reply, then you type in
