Howa 6.5X55

I am looking at an ad for a used stainless Howa in 6.5X55. Is this caliber on the same length action as 270/30-06 or a shorter length action for the 308 family.

Their website lists OAL length of rifles the same whatever caliber. This might be my answer, but does anyone have a more definitive answer than me reading between the lines?

Thanks

;)

I believe it's on the long action side as my 110 Savage would make the 6.5X55 ago. If you pass on this can I have a look? I like the 6.5X55. I did just sell my 6.5 semi-auto and would like a tote gun.

Cheers
..MJ..
