Millett Buck Gold 6-25x56 Side Focus Scope any good?

Anyone have and experience with the Millett Buck Gold scopes?

Natchez has the 6-25x56 side focus 30mm tube for over 50% off list. $190.00 vs $535.00 (List)

Looking to put it on a Rem. 700 SPS .308 I've got on order.

I have an earlier model (without the side focus) on a heavy barrelled Tikka. Optics are in the upper mid range and adjustments have been reliable, but it's only a 223.
The original asking price was unrealistic for a Chinese scope and the new discounted price is about what they should have been asking for in the first instance.
My understanding is that Millett is now defunct and being taken over, forgotten by whom. Would want to confirm warranty arrangements before I bought any of their products.
