Question for TC Firehawk owners
I picked a new, old stock, TC Firehawk, blued, walnut stock in 32 cal...nice gun. I was getting ready to clean out all the packing oil last night and read in the owner's manual that they recommend removing the trigger assembly to clean the rifle.
I did it and it was simple enough, but the thought of drifting those two tiny pins out after every trip to the field with the gun seems ridiculous. Do you actually remove the trigger assembly whenever you clean your Firehawk? |

It all depends on what propellant you use and your cleaning method. As you get to know, your rifle, it will indicate to you what you need to do. What can happen is that the trigger will locked up by residue and not release your striker. I don't clean with water and I'd say I pull my trigger group about every sixth time I take it out. Once started out the hunting season by going to the range and sure enough, my trigger was locked up. Still, there is not problem cleaning and freeing it. ... Be Safe !!!
