Vintage Weaver Scope

I have a Weaver scope that I would like information on. It is labled Weaver V8, El Paso Texas. The rear mounting ring has built in adjustments for windage and elevation. What is the history and dates of manufacture of this scope. It seems to be clear and usable.

target scope?????

External adjustments sound like some kind of target or varmint rig. Are you stating the adjustments are in the mounts/rings themselves???

Yes -- The micrometer type adjustments are built right into the rings. The scope tube itself does not have any adjustments. I have tried attaching a photo ????

Several hits returned Googling "weaver", "v8", "adjustable scope base"
