357 die question

i am looking at ordering a die off the internet it is a 38/357mag carbide die but it says maxwhat does that mean

If you're referring to .357 maximum then it's a longer version of the .357. However you say it's a 38/357 die which makes me wonder if the max is referring to something I'm not aware of. Maybe it will work from the .357 maximum on down?

it means it will load 38, 357 mag and 357 max. the max is the same case, just about 5/16 inch longer.
