45 LC conversion cylinder
I have a Pietta 44 target model 1858 Remington. Wanting to know what the differences are between the Uberti and the Pietta built 44 BP revolvers. Especialy the cylinder/lock up areas. Could a R&D 45 LC conversion cylinder from a Uberti be adapted to the Pietta?
Thanks, Steve |

Would take some work, and you could ruin it. Would be better to sell the Uberti cylinder and use the money to help get a new pietta cylinder. You could also see if someone is in an opposite position, and do a trade.

I have 3 Pietta 44 Conversions. One is stainless steel. What would you take for your cylinder? And would you like to buy one of these?

Uberti to Pietta Conversion Cylinders
Steve it'll fit the Uberti in a pietta 1858 but the overall length of the Ubert iis a couple .001" shorter... the Pietta cyl. won't fit the Uberti without removing material from the cylinder or the frame.
If you plan on sellin' that Uberti conversion PM me and let me know. Or visit me on either of my Forums ... SG
