Armalite M15
I just discovered that Armalite has come out with a M15. I've looked at some videos and sites and it appears to be just another AR15. Am I missing something, is it any better than an AR15? I suspect they may not be able to call it an AR15 since they sold that to Colt.

According to the links the M15 came out in the late '80s. I wonder what happened to that rifle.

The ArmaLite M15 is still available. I bought a stripped M15 lower in 2009, built it up and even added an M15 upper. I don't have the upper today but kept the lower. Nothing wrong with ArmaLite ARs, in fact I recently bought their AR-10A DSR10.

I have two Armalite M15's, an A4(C), and a A4(T), both 16" midlength rifles. Picked them both up in the late 90's. Both have been accurate and reliable.
Only complaint Ive had, is they are finicky about what mags will fit in the mag well. Colt and USGI mags work fine, everything else is hit of miss. They dont like the PMags at all. This is the (C)..... and the (T).... |
