Marlin lever action for Cowboy AS ?

A friend asked me to post for him the question about getting a Marlin lever action and then setting it up for "short stroking" the lever. Can any of you help us out here? I'm not into CAS, and he's just starting.. Thanks!

Never heard of it here. Our CAS cowboys use em' like they are,and mighty good too!!
I wouls talk to a smith or visit some CAS forums.

Mic Macpherson is on the Leverguns.com, He can do miracles with a Marlin.
