Boycott Chicago?

How many of you are business people who do business with people inside the Chicago city limits - would it be worth it, publicity-wise, to publicize a boycott of that area? I'm very disturbed by the racist decisions which their city council has been making.

Actually I enjoy going to Chicago.

There is something nice about being legally armed where the general populace is not, in a twisted sort of way. The same can be said for Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and New York City.

I'll be in Los Angeles next week, armed and legal.

Most of Chicago is not Mayor Daley, his goon squad or gang bangers. A boycott would hurt neither of those two groups but would hurt the average hardworking man and woman in Chicago. Not a good idea.

If it's a city of more than roughly 5,000 people then I've pretty much boycotted it already....

A boycott is not really a L and CR issue, esp. when it is so ill-defined.

Closed.
