I saw that my Lyman manual lists 2.800" for oal for a 175gn BTHP... I'm loading mine right of the lands and the OAL comes to 2.982"... Is this OK?

Seat your bullet to whatever works for you. OAL listed in manuals has little to do with you and your rifle. Some manuals do not even list the OAL tested it is that unimportant.

Just remember the closer you get to the lands, the higher the pressure. So, if you are starting out right at or in the lands, work up slow as you may encounter high pressure sooner than you would expect.
