I was wondering if anyone had good dealings with Dave Lauck in regards to custom work on 1911's and what they thought of his work. Thanks//CML

I have had dealings with Dave and he is a great guy. When my 45 that was built by a big name smith went full auto on me Dave fixed it in one day. You might not want all of the options he offers but the work he does will be done right. You can really bet your life on one of his guns. Bruce

Yeah, he has been great so far with me. My gun was also prevously worked on by a smith and Dave still took my gun. Alot of smiths wont do that. I cant wait to get it back. I will post about it as soon as I have recieved it and shoot it a bit. I was just curious to see if anyone else on the board had any dealings with him. Mine again have been great so far. Thanks//CML
