18in 11-87 barrel
Anyone know who sells 18in Rem 11-87 Barrel's? I checked the Remington website, but they don't list anything shorter than 21in.

Will an 870 (or 1100)Barrel fit an 11-87? I thought the 11-87 had a gas port or something like that, since it is a semi-auto.

Buy any used 11-87 barrel and cut it down to length...
You can do it yourself if you're careful with a fine blade on the hacksaw, and fine file the edges very neatly with a very fine fine.

AMT,
Take a look at http://www.remingtonle.com/shotguns/1187.htm . Whacking off a longer gas gun barrel as short as 18" is going to require adjustments to the gas ports, and that is not likely a DIY deal... lpl/nc |

An 11-87 will not function with a barrel shorter than 21 inchs, the shorter barrel will release the pressure to fast causing the gun to short cycle.
