Pennsylvania TFL Gathering Saturday October 5th! "Soda's 22 Cheap shoot and show 'em"

Will be held at.......http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...npEYb24l7V2Jio

TFL is hard on the wallet, so I'm once again holding a TFL gathering specializing in 22LR pistol and rifles. Everyone is asked to bring a 22LR and see who has the biggest heaping pile of spent cases on the ground.

The 200yd Rifle range will be inhabited by TFL members with black assault weapons. BRING 'EM IF YOU GOT 'EM!!!!

OK you wanted a good name!

Bein' that you are a beverage magnate now I figured you will be supplyin the refreshments (that is known as the hook )

Maybe you can plug the coffee pot into the traps on the 5 stand for electricity.

Maybe I'll get some bagels

Soda is too "Cheap" to give out freebies to everyone. Soda put an AR on a credit card and probable shouldn't have.

I'll be there with an empty coffee cup taking donations. I have tons of ammo though.

Everyone has tons of .22 ammo. I think we proved at the last "pop festival" that it is impossible to run out of .22! It's like some sort of mystic law or something.
My goodness man, don't you ever sleep?!!!

Soda has been working 3 jobs lately. One of them doesn't get me home until 1am.

Soda has bill to pay.

Ya know, guys... I can't afford to hang with you any more. I just got done shopping for a shotgun... now I have a hankerin' for a .22 in a big way!!!

Well, the good news is that I get to check 'em all out, right?

"TacticalGuy" and I are planning to be there, barring unforseen work circumstances.

I'll do my damned best to get there (barring any bad attitude from my wife) with DSA Carbine in hand.

A/P, please do try your best to make it. I'd very much like to make your acquaintence. Seems we have a lot in common, since RKBA New Jerseyans see lots of things eye-to-eye.

Ray, I'd like to try out your bolt action .22s, plus compare your AR-7 to my Papoose. That reminds me, I really need more magazines.

AnklePocket, will you be bringing any merchandise for the "gun show" portion of the meet?

Thanks, gentlemen. I'm pretty sure I'm there especially since my wife's going to a spa for 4 days. Good idea on the "Gun Show". That'll be my "ace in the hole" for getting my wife to watch the kids while I join ya'all. And I'm one of the very few in New Jersey that say "ya'all".

Airport

Thanks Soda,
Let's see what the weather forecast is for then. Refresh my memory on starting and quitting times. Anybody else from South Jersey rather not drive? We would leave from Hammonton in time to spend the day but would be limited on weight. Quantrill

22 Cheap Shoot & Show'em...

I guess I'll just hav't make this here one....

No IDPA matches scheduled. The gun show at the Forge is that weekend, but I'll switch it to Sunday the 6th.

Justin, the range at Daniel Boone hasn't been quite the same since you & the crew were there. I'm not quite sure how the neighbors received the reports of so many weapons on greatly varying calibers. To bad I had the IDPA match that day and couldn't get to the range until it was almost wrap-up time, especially since it was just over the hill from me(east side of Reading).

I'll probably load up all the rimfire shooters and maybe a few others. Looking forward to the fun!

Im going to ask my cousin if he can make it. If he can I will be able to make this one. He has a few 22's and Im sure he would enjoy this.
Damn, I convinced myself not too far back to not get a MARLIN 81TS 22, and now this.

I will post a definite answer by the weekend, thanks for the invite RW 3RD.

PS- We will meet before 1 1/2 years. Sooner than later.

Soda, sorry -- for some reasons the dates just never work. Already committed to go to a friend's play (she's starring), among other things.

nvrquit: you know it's a good shooting session when the neighbors complain.

Complaints, the Play et al...

Justin,

I'm not really sure on the complaining issue, but as I understand it there was definitely a few "questions" asked. Regarding the play, remember; don't fall a'sleep and don't forget the name of the character your friend was in the play... very important!

In any case, enjoy and we'll see you next time around!

Clarification requested...

Soda,

I've noticed the posts for both the 5th & 6th of October. Which is the correct date?
