Accurate 2230 vs 2200

Reloading info (from Accurate) on these 2 powders show ballistics to be very close.
Can't locate any 2230 so thought I would try some 2200 which was available.
Just got 3 lbs. and thought I would see if anyone else has compared the 2.

I have used both and find them very similar. I only have some 2200 now and it is reserved for my .223 M700. As I recall my load work up' s are nearly the same.

Sort of subjective but 2230 is a bit cleaner.

2200 is everywhere right now. I've never even heard of the stuff until a couple weeks ago. I have no experience with it.

I have like 160 pounds of 2200. It's everywhere. It's very affordable, too. After Haz Mat and s&h, its exactly $20 a pound. Not a bad price. Best to buy in 8 pound containers, 6 containers at a time, for best value.

I like it very much. Burns well, meters well.

It isn't the most economical powder, as I need about 20 grains of charge for my .223. In .223 autoloader, it's very reliable. I also load for .308 autoloader, but as I am awaiting an NFA gun, the rounds are sitting there awaiting the NFA parole, so I can't speak as to the .308.

I can't speak to its accuracy, as I do not load for accuracy. I load for cost and reliability of action cycling, and it does well in those departments.
