Mini 14 20 round mags or 30 round mags

So, I've been reading that the factory 30 round mags are not as reliable as the factory 20 round mags. Is there any validity to this? Anyone have any hands on experience?

I have five 30 rd mags and one 20 rd mag, and if there is a difference in reliability I have not noticed that in my admittedly limited experience (I've fired 900 trouble-free rounds thru my Mini, with about half going thru the 20 rd mag before I got the 30 rounders, and the rest thru the 30s).

I've never had an issue with factory 30 round mags.
