Remington 870 price check

Realizing that prices vary from region to region, what's an average going price for the Remington 870 Police model?

Heck, that's pretty reasonable (if it was in my neck or the woods- Arizona). I was expecting more around $380-400.

I have yet to see an 870P for less than $250, and at $250 it was heavily used. In 95% condition they bring about $350 here.

Iwent looking for a used 870 Express here and couldn't find one. Nobody buys the damn things much in this neck of the woods. I hit the internet and found a bunch up on the east coast and vacinity where they have slug only deer seasons. I bought mine for under $250.00

I just had to spend $265 for an 18" express (new). I did not see 1 good used 18" 870 at a recent gun show...

On the low end...

Local pawn shop was/is going out of business, so I stopped in to take a look. They had an 870 Express Magnum with synthetic furniture, rifle sights, and 20" barrel with some finish wear that I walked out with for $170.

If you don't mind a used gun, Dixie Ammo Dump has used 870 Police models for $155 each. Read this thread for more info.

Also, this dealer advertising on Davidson's has 870 Police NIB with 2 shot mag extension for $291. He had them on sale for $260 until yesterday.

Disclaimer: I've not had business dealings with either of these two sources, I've just been looking for the best deal I could find.
