I just skimmed that, but did I understand correctly that they're saying competition shooting isn't a 'sporting use'?

I don't recall ever voting for anybody at the atf. How do WE, the citizens their bosses, put pressure on them? Who appoints the leadership at the atf, and how can we make their working lives more difficult? Does congress provide the atf's operating funds, and could badgering every legislative imp to reduce the atf's funding to limit such "studies" have any impact?

What can we do to reign in this runaway, anti-Constitution agency?

There's a thread on this study going on in the shotgun section as well as the NFA section. They and this one should all be merged to keep the discussion in one place.
