I have a Browning patent FN model 1922 7.65mm
semiautomatic pistol. The 1922 was made in .32 and 9mm from 1922 until sometime in the 1970's. I have been told that the year of manufacture can be estimated from the serial number. Mine has an SN between 21000 and 22000 which makes me suspect that it is fairly old. It has plain military grips rather than FN mark "sport" grips and lacks the Wehrmacht mark on the slide found on some examples. Any idea when it was made? Chuck |

Chuck,
Harley is out of pocket for a bit. I'm sure he can help when he gets back! Giz |
