Gun Belt Fit
I'm need of a gun belt for IWB carry and can't wait 4-6 weeks right now for a custom belt. I went by the local gun store and they had a Galco dress gun belt, seems ok. I measure a 37 with the rig in my pants. The guy in the store tells me to buy the size 38, not the 36. So, with the 38 I'm really on the 37" hole which only leaves me one smaller hole to adjust to if I drop an inch off my waist. Wouldn't I be better off with the 36" belt? I DEFINATELY won't be adding any inches to the waistline so with the 36 I'll have plenty of holes to size down. Wish they sold in odd sizes as the belt is not cheap, $83.

I like the way thebeltman tells you to measure. Measure your waist, inside your beltloops of your pants without the gun. That should be the measure from the end of the buckle to the center hole. That way you can go in or out a hole or two as needed.
