Feeling dumb right about now.

Every day when I go to the forums, I've been seeing that warning at the top of the page about the new TFL policies on quoting copyrighted materials - the one that went up about the time Righthaven started suing everybody.

Today, on a whim I clicked the little 'X' to dismiss it, and evidently that dismisses the warning *for good*, not just for that session.

When did that warning go up, anyway? 2010? I can't believe I looked at it for that long, not knowing that I only had to acknowledge it once!

I'm not sure exactly when it went up, but it's been well over a year.

I guess we should make it clearer that the notice can be dismissed after reading.

[Edit]
I just did that in case there are others who weren't aware they don't have to read it more than once.

The TFL Copyright Policy went live around August 10, 2010.

Most likely better than the authors of the notice!
