Hi to all:
Does anyone in the group have problems using CCI large pistol primers in Dillon primer tubes? I have been having a problem with these primers sticking in the tubes and was wondering if I might have defective tubes, or are the primers causing the problem? Thanks for any help given....45Fan

Think I already did this elsewhere, but.......Yes, I had problems with them several years ago, seemed to be egg shaped. Switched to Winchester, no more problems. Now to see if the 5000 Federals that someone gave me will work......

I mostly use win small pistol primers in my 550, but had to buy some CCI, hope I don't have any trouble with them. Let you know if I do.

I use a Square Deal B and have had no problem with small pistol primers from CCI
and have loaded 1000 of rounds with them.
But have not used large pistol primers.

Hope this makes someone feel better

I got a good deal on CCI small pistol primers and I loaded 15,000 of them on my Dillons with no problems.

I had problems with CCI 200 primers jamming in the primer tube of my 550B. I switched to Winchester primers and never had another problem.

Funny you should ask, yes I have had the same problem. I called Dillon a couple of weeks ago and they told me they have a lot of troubles with the CCI large pistol primers being out of round. I switched to Winchester.

I've put 200,000+ CCI large and small (virtually all I use) through my 650 (1,500 tonight) with no difficulty.

I had the same problem with my Square Deal. I switched to Winchester and have had no problems for the last ten years. Doc
